GMI works to match our client’s needs with the right manufacturing capability offshore. We help you select from a range of trusted partners, and we monitor production closely through our permanent presence in Asia. Just as in GMI’s domestic plant, our Asian partners assemble electronic circuits in state-of-the-art, static controlled facilities. We select our partners for their TS16949, ISO9001 as well as ISO14001 certifications, lead-free capability, and their ability to do BGAs, Board/Flip Chip and more. At any given time, GMI has dozens of products in production. As the need arises, we locate, qualify and engage new partners to meet our client’s demands. Our partners produce in a number of regions, including China, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia.

GMI has surveyed/audited nearly a hundred low-cost region EMS providers to select the impressive stable of qualified alliance partners we rely on to produce quality product in an efficient manner. Each of our partners has a minimum quality standard of ISO9001. Most have attained a more stringent quality standard. Since each alliance partner offers unique strengths, GMI matches each customer with an alliance partner based on a specific list of criteria. This ensures a successful transfer to a low-cost region.
