We keep a library of these "Product Recipes” for fast, accurate reference to enable production operators to maintain quality standards. We also employ a sophisticated, computerized Supply Chain Management System to control BOM, Supplier Data, COG, Material Resource Planning (MRP), Test Results, Scrap, and Quality Control (QC).
Lead-Time Reduction Programs
For many clients, GMI carries an inventory of raw materials, components, subassemblies and finished product. For predictable programs, GMI offers KanBan and Lead-time Reduction Programs. For instance, within GMI, our largest component suppliers maintain an In-Plant Store and other major vendors furnish a bonded inventory to support GMI in its quick-responsive approach to client needs.
